Mechanism of Action of Osteofos 35 mg:

Alendronic acid is the active constituent of the Osteofos medication. Alendronate is the salt form of Alendronic acid. Alendronate is a bisphosphonate substitute attaches to the bone hydroxyapatite and particularly abolishes the activity of osteoclasts, the bone-resorbing cells. Alendronate brings a fall in the resorption of bones and does not directly produce any effect on bone formation.
